Lead Teacher

Creative Little Ones is seeking an attentive classroom teacher to cultivate a safe and loving environment that is conducive to growth and learning, as well as, perform all duties necessary to ensure that children’s basic needs are taken care of.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and implement programs for children between the ages of infancy and 12 years
• Provide basic care for children
• Develop age-appropriate socialization skills in children
• Encourage positive behavior and good manners
• Use various learning methods such as stories, games, and drawing to intellectually stimulate children.
• Communicate with parents and provide updates on children’s progress.
• Identify behavioral problems and develop appropriate strategies to address them.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and workshops
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings to address any issues, concerns, or parent complaints
• Provide a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.

Experience:

• One year or more of work experience (preferred)

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of childhood development and methods used to instruct children of various ages
• Ability to communicate with other teachers and parents regarding student's progress and behavior in the classroom
• Strong organizational skills are essential to prepare materials for planned daily lessons

• Strong conflict resolution skills
