Location: Romeoville, IL

SHIFT: 2nd Shift 4:00pm-1:30 am

Pay: $18.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Loader/Unloader. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and maintaining a safe working environment. This is a vital position within our distribution center, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload shipments using various equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, cherry pickers, etc.

Build pallets and secure them properly for transportation

Verify shipment contents against packing slips or other documentation

Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Perform loading and unloading of trucks by hand.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for long periods of time.

Adhere to the company's policies to create a safe work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be able to maintain a fast pace of work in a busy environment, often requiring continuous walking, lifting etc.

Ability to prioritize and efficiently complete tasks with consistency and accuracy.

Must have flexibility with regards to work schedule including overtime and weekend hours.
