Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor deep fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare and cook menu items to order, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety and handling guidelines
- Keep the fry station clean, organized, and fully stocked during service
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Monitor oil quality and perform fryer maintenance as needed
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Previous experience as a fry cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
