Cleaning Technician

We are a growing commercial cleaning company seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to maintain our high cleanliness standards across various facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, hygienic environment by performing cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly. This role is vital in supporting the health and safety of our clients, contributing to a welcoming and professional atmosphere for their businesses. This position is part-time with the possibility of more hours as the company grows. This is evening/night work ending between Midnight and 1am and includes at least 1 weekend night of work (both if desired) - Depending on your availability we will work with you to adjust work nights and/or start time if you are a great fit for our company.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to meet cleanliness standards.
• Disinfect high-touch areas regularly to prevent the spread of germs.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards encountered during cleaning tasks.
• Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Requirements

• Prior cleaning experience is not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality as well as reliable transportation.
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as operating machinery such as vacuum cleaners and automatic floor scrubbers.
• Ability to pass a background check and adhere to health and safety regulations.
