Warehouse Associate - Plumbing & HVAC

MJ Plumbing Contractors & Son Inc. is a growing, family-owned plumbing, heating, and cooling company based in New Rochelle, NY. We're hiring a hands-on Warehouse Associate to run daily warehouse operations and support our field technicians. This role includes use of a company pickup truck for runs and deliveries. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM start.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect all incoming warehouse shipments; sort material into inventory or stage it for specific jobs
• Handle leftover material returned from job sites
• Coordinate vendor returns and outgoing shipments
• Run routine scrap runs using the company pickup truck
• Deliver material and assist techs with deliveries in the field as needed
• Stage replenishment material for techs ahead of scheduled jobs
• Keep the warehouse broom-swept daily and shop bathroom clean
• Maintain tools in good working condition and flag repairs or replacements needed
• Take out trash weekly
• Assist with structuring and implementing new inventory systems as the warehouse buildout progresses
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean-enough driving record (will operate a company vehicle)
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Warehouse, trades, or construction experience a plus
• Forklift experience or familiarity with plumbing/HVAC parts a plus
