Senior Marketing Manager
Job Description
Univista Insurance is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to own full-funnel marketing strategy and activation for the Orlando market. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is the marketing leader for one of Univista's highest-potential growth markets, responsible for building the market plan, deploying it across digital and traditional channels, and driving measurable growth in leads, quotes, and sales for the Orlando market.
This is a builder's role. The right candidate combines strategic and analytical rigor with hands-on activation, moves comfortably between planning a media mix and standing in a store talking to agents, and knows how to win in a local market: the right message, the right channels, and the right community presence. They are a strong partner to operations, sales, and the broader marketing team, and they represent the Orlando market's needs and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
• Own the full-funnel marketing strategy for the Orlando market, from awareness through lead generation, quote, and sale, aligned to company growth objectives and the enterprise marketing plan
• Build and manage the annual and quarterly Orlando market plan: audience priorities, channel mix, budget allocation, campaign calendar, and performance targets
• Develop deep knowledge of the Orlando consumer, competitive set, and media landscape; identify whitespace and bring forward-looking growth recommendations to the CMO
• Localize enterprise campaigns and brand initiatives for the Orlando market while protecting brand consistency
Full-Funnel Activation: Digital & Traditional
• Plan and activate integrated campaigns across digital channels (paid search, paid social, display, email) and traditional channels (radio, TV, out-of-home, print, direct mail)
• Lead local presence and community marketing: events, sponsorships, grassroots activations, and partnerships that build trust and drive store traffic
• Partner with the digital marketing team on channel execution and best practices; this role directs the market strategy and investment, while enterprise channel specialists own areas such as SEO and marketing automation
• Manage local vendor relationships, ensuring work meets Univista's strategic and creative standards and delivers against performance targets
• Ensure creative and messaging resonate with Orlando's bilingual, consumer base across English and Spanish
• Create or adapt content for local campaigns, social, and in-market needs when required; content creation is a limited part of the role, with enterprise creative resources providing primary support
Performance & Analytics
• Own marketing performance accountability for the Orlando market, with fluency in leads, quotes, sales, CPL, CAC, and marketing ROI, and clear attribution of results to marketing investment
• Report market performance to the CMO on a weekly cadence, translating data into insight and insight into action
• Build a test-and-learn agenda across channels, creative, and offers; scale what works and cut what does not
• Monitor lead flow, lead quality, and routing in partnership with the call center and store operations to ensure marketing investment converts
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Partner closely with regional operations leadership, the call center, and store teams to connect marketing activity to sales outcomes
• Coordinate with the Senior Franchise Marketing Manager when market activity touches franchise locations; franchise marketing strategy and support are owned by that team
• Collaborate with marketing peers across South Florida and Texas to share learnings, align on enterprise initiatives, and maintain consistent standards
• Partner with compliance and legal to ensure all marketing activity meets regulatory requirements for the insurance industry
Budget & Operations
• Manage the Orlando marketing budget in partnership with the CMO: planning, allocation, pacing, and reconciliation, with a clear point of view on return by channel and initiative
• Manage co-branded and carrier-funded programs in the market, ensuring commitments are executed and documented
• Maintain disciplined campaign processes, timelines, and documentation consistent with the marketing team's operating model
Qualifications & Credentials
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, including responsibility for market-level or business-level marketing strategy and budget management
• Proven experience across both digital and traditional channels, with a track record of driving measurable, full-funnel results
• Strong strategic and analytical capability: fluent in CPL, CAC, and ROI, comfortable building a plan from data and insight, defending it with numbers, and adjusting it based on performance
• Bilingual (English/Spanish); deep familiarity with Hispanic consumer marketing
• Excellent cross-functional partnership skills; able to influence and align sales, operations, franchise, and executive stakeholders
• Experience managing agencies, vendors, and media partners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
• Ability to think strategically while managing tactical details in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Based in the Orlando area, with regular presence in stores and the market
Desired Experience
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry
• Experience marketing for a multi-location, retail, or franchise-based business
• Local media planning and buying experience (radio, TV, OOH) in the Orlando or Central Florida market
• Experience with community marketing, sponsorships, and event activation
• Knowledge of customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value strategies
