Client Coverage & Operations Specialist Quality Care @Home Full-Time | Chesterfield/Richmond Area Position Overview Quality Care @Home is seeking dependable, flexible, and motivated individuals to join our team as Client Coverage & Operations Specialists. This is NOT a traditional office position. The primary responsibility of this position is to help ensure that our clients receive dependable care when regularly scheduled caregivers are unavailable. Team members must be willing and prepared to provide direct client care as needed. When client coverage is not needed, you will work in our office assisting with daily administrative and operational responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can adjust quickly when priorities change, and understands that maintaining client coverage is one of the most important parts of operating a successful home care agency. Primary Responsibilities Client Coverage - Provide direct care to clients when regularly scheduled caregivers call out or shifts become unexpectedly open. - Be prepared to transition from office duties to client care when coverage is needed. - Assist with temporary client assignments until a permanent caregiver is placed. - Assist with new client starts when necessary. - Provide companion and personal care services according to the client's care plan. - Maintain professional and dependable service when working with different clients. - Travel to client homes throughout our service area as assigned. - Communicate changes, concerns, and important client information to management. Client coverage is a required and essential function of this position. Office & Operations Support When client coverage is not needed, team members may assist with: - Scheduling and caregiver coordination - Recruiting and applicant follow-up - Conducting initial applicant screenings - Caregiver onboarding and orientation support - Client and caregiver follow-up calls - Documentation and record reviews - Filing and general administrative duties - Preparing client and employee paperwork - Assisting with staffing open shifts - Quality assurance activities - Marketing and referral follow-up - Other daily operational needs of the agency Schedule & Flexibility This position requires significant schedule flexibility. Daily assignments may change depending on client and staffing needs. For example, you may begin the day performing office responsibilities and later be reassigned to provide client care. Applicants should be comfortable with changing priorities and should not apply if they are seeking a strictly office-based position or a position where daily duties will always be predictable. What We Are Looking For We are specifically looking for individuals who are: - Extremely dependable - Flexible with their work assignments - Comfortable providing direct client care - Comfortable working in an office environment - Able to work independently - Professional and compassionate - Organized and able to multitask - Strong communicators - Comfortable learning new responsibilities - Able to handle last-minute changes without becoming overwhelmed - Team-oriented and willing to help where needed Requirements - Experience providing personal care, companion care, home care, or similar services preferred - Administrative or home care office experience is a plus - Reliable transportation - Valid driver's license - Ability to travel to clients throughout our service area - Ability to meet all employment and caregiver requirements established by Quality Care @Home - Ability to use computers, email, and basic office software - Strong attendance and employment history preferred IMPORTANT — Please Read Before Applying This position was specifically created to help Quality Care @Home maintain reliable client coverage. You are being hired as a Client Coverage & Operations Specialist — not as an administrative employee who occasionally helps with clients. Your first responsibility is helping ensure that our clients receive the care they are scheduled to receive. When coverage is needed, you may be assigned to work directly with a client. When coverage is not needed, you will work with our office team and assist with agency operations. Pay: $18–$21 per hour, based on experience, reliability, schedule flexibility, and willingness to travel throughout our service area.
