Reports To: Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for keeping production equipment, tooling, and facility systems operating efficiently while minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, small equipment, and hand tools.
  • Perform and coordinate preventive maintenance on wire-cutting machines, forklifts, compressors, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic equipment issues.
  • Coordinate equipment and tooling calibration and ensure required calibrations are completed on schedule.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.
  • Prioritize daily maintenance needs and respond quickly to equipment issues that could impact production.
  • Coordinate building and facility repairs, including minor plumbing, painting, and general maintenance.
  • Order replacement parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Communicate and coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or services are required.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and calibration records.
  • Support ISO 9001 tooling calibration requirements and audits.
  • Assist with training, directing, and supporting personnel as needed.
  • Help ensure equipment is operating safely and with minimal production downtime.

Qualifications

  • Previous hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with production machinery, tooling, and equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to read and understand machinery repair manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to organize work, prioritize repairs, and supervise personnel.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • English and Spanish communication skills required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for a minimum of three years.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods.
