Dog Handler

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Job description:

Doggy daycare in NW Denver looking for help with various shifts (10-25hrs per week) throughout the week and weekends. CAN START IMMEDIATELY if available. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour depending on experience; pay increase after 60 days considered based on performance. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS. We pay time and a half on holidays. Shifts of 4 and 6 1/2 hours may be available Monday through Sunday. Need someone who can occasionally be flexible with shift start/end times between our operating ours of 6:00a - 7:30p.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring dogs in play areas to ensure all dogs play safely together and have a great time! Includes being observant and detail-oriented (frequent dog-body checks) while in play group.

• Cleaning up after dogs

• DEEP CLEANING play areas and kennels. This includes lifting the play equipment to clean it.

• Capacity to be patient with high-energy dogs

• Bathing dogs.

• Feeding dogs (requires bending to floor to place/pickup bowls in kennels)

• Must be able to stand for 4+ hours; comfortable with loud sounds indoors (i.e. barking!).

• Ability to focus on the job...personal phones are not permitted in the play group.

• After initial orientation, must be able to work without continual direction

• Work Location: One location (No remote work option)
