Arborist Assistant - Climber preferred

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable tree climber. Experience preferred but will train. Experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in climbing, operating bucket trucks and rigging techniques. As an climber, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and beauty of trees and landscapes, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces thrive. Having a CDL license is not required but very beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree care services including pruning, trimming, and removal of trees as necessary.
• Operate bucket trucks safely to access high branches and perform necessary maintenance.
• Assess the health of trees and provide recommendations for care or treatment.
• Operate equipment safely and responsibly.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Educate clients on proper tree care practices and landscape management.
• Enjoy working outside.

Skills

• Proficiency in tree climbing safely .
• Knowledge of tree care techniques, including pruning.
• Ability to climb; not afraid of heights.
• Experience in landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and gardening.
• Ability to rig safely for tree removal or heavy branch lowering.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• A commitment to safety protocols while working in various outdoor environments.
• CDL is a plus.
