Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Food & Beverage Kitchen Workers to support a busy event and hospitality operation in Lakeville, CT. This seasonal assignment focuses on assisting with large-scale events, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, banquets, and private gatherings serving up to 150 guests.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with kitchen, catering, hospitality, or food service experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Food & Beverage Kitchen Worker Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, and event service support
• Prepare ingredients according to established recipes and event menus
• Support kitchen operations before, during, and after events
• Maintain proper food temperatures and food safety standards
• Label, organize, rotate, and store food products correctly
• Follow sanitation and cleanliness procedures throughout the kitchen
• Assist with dishwashing, cleanup, and breakdown after events
• Work efficiently to meet service timelines and guest expectations
• Perform additional kitchen and event support duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in catering, banquet service, food production, restaurant kitchens, or hospitality preferred
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food storage, and temperature control practices
• Strong knife skills and food preparation abilities
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
