About the Role:
Salinas Valley Hotel LP is looking for a friendly and energetic Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team in Salinas, CA! This is a great opportunity to be the first smile guests see in the morning, helping set the tone for an exceptional stay. If you love people and take pride in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and break down the daily breakfast buffet service area
• Greet and assist hotel guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Monitor and replenish food and beverage items throughout breakfast service
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dining area, tables, and food stations
• Handle food safely in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special dietary needs when possible
• Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to management

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work early morning shifts reliably and consistently
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong attention to detail
