GM Automotive Technicians – World Class, A, B, & C Techs (EV Certified Included)

We are seeking qualified automotive technicians across all skill levels—World Class, A, B, and C Techs—to join our growing service department at our Chevrolet dealership in Westville, NJ and our Buick GMC dealership in Williamstown, NJ.

Whether you are a master-level main line diagnostic expert, a Duramax diesel specialist, an EV-certified technician, or an ambitious line tech ready to turn hours and advance your career, we have the workload, bay space, and modern equipment to keep you production-focused and earning top dollar.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on General Motors vehicles (Chevrolet, GMC, Buick), Duramax diesel powertrains, and modern EV platforms aligned with your skill level.
• Execute work ranging from heavy electrical diagnosis, Duramax engine/fuel systems, transmission overhaul, and high-voltage EV service down to routine maintenance, suspension, HVAC, and brake repairs.
• Diagnose and repair light-duty diesel systems, including Duramax engine management, turbocharger systems, fuel injection, and DEF/aftertreatment emissions (SCR/DPF).
• Utilize GDS2, Tech2, and SPS2 diagnostic software to isolate root causes efficiently.
• Maintain high flat-rate production standards while strictly limiting comebacks by performing quality repairs.,
• Complete detailed Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs) with clear notes for service advisors.
• Follow factory repair standards, safety protocols, and proper warranty documentation procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Experience ranging from 1+ years (C-Tech) to 5+ years (A/World Class Tech) in a dealership or high-volume shop environment.
• Certifications: Active GM STC Certifications or ASE Certifications (A1–A8, T2–T8, L1, L3) strongly preferred. GM Duramax diesel and High-Voltage/EV Certifications are major pluses.
• Tools: Must own a professional set of tools appropriate for your tech classification level.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Flat-Rate Pay Scale for A, B, and World Class Techs / Hourly Base Pay with Production Bonuses for Entry-Level
• • • World class can earn $90,000 to upwards of over $140,000
    • A class technicians can earn $75,000 to upwards of $125,000
    • B techs can earn $65,000 to upwards of $115,000
    • C techs can earn $40,000 to upwards of $65,000
