Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental care team. In this role, you will focus on promoting oral health through patient education, preventive care, and supportive clinical services. You will work closely with dentists to ensure patients receive thorough cleanings and maintain optimal dental hygiene in a welcoming and professional environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in patient communication, and committed to enhancing patient experiences and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar.
• Conduct patient screenings and take dental radiographs as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative dental care.
• Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatment and care provided.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a sterile clinical environment.
• Stay informed about advances in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Accredited Dental Hygiene degree or certificate.
• Valid state license or certification to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
• Experience with dental charting and radiographic techniques.
• Knowledge of dental office software for record-keeping and scheduling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient education.
