EDA Workflow & Infrastructure Engineer (NO C2C/H1B)

Description:
We are hiring a contract EDA Workflow & Infrastructure Engineer to operate the HPC compute infrastructure and engineering application environments used by our engineering and R&D organizations. The role covers hands-on deployment, monitoring, and operational support for compute clusters, application environments, license systems, and user access environments.
Responsibilities:
%CF; Engineering application environment operations: install, configure, and upgrade applications; manage version trees and environment modules; execute qualification tests and document results
%CF; EDA tool installation and deployment support: install and patch EDA tools and configure tool environments; support new environment buildouts requested by design organizations; troubleshoot installation issues and provide technical support
%CF; License server operations: operate and monitor license servers (FlexLM/FlexNet and equivalents); troubleshoot license issues; produce utilization and idle-license reports
%CF; HPC compute cluster operations: monitor cluster and queue health; triage failed and pending jobs; apply queue and resource policies; report utilization and performance metrics
%CF; User access environment support: deploy and maintain remote desktop / login environments; resolve user session issues
%CF; R&D software management: manage R&D software assets and license inventory; support new procurement and renewals; handle deployment and user support; execute consolidation and standardization based on utilization
%CF; Linux system administration and automation: server provisioning, patching, storage/filesystem troubleshooting, and automation of monitoring, reporting, and repetitive operational tasks
Requirements:
%CF; Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
%CF; 3+ years of hands-on experience in HPC infrastructure, EDA/engineering IT infrastructure, or Linux system administration
%CF; Working knowledge of job schedulers (LSF, SLURM, Grid Engine, or equivalent), license management systems, and engineering/EDA application environments
%CF; Ability to automate operational tasks through scripting
