Job Title: Sr Software Engineer - Backend/ML

Location: San Mateo, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Range: $60/Hr to $67/Hr on W2

Note: Will go onsite once per month and as needed for workshops and team meetings

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful Web Services API and algorithms
• Build, train, test, and deploy ML models
• Learn, collaborate, and network alongside world-class engineers
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodology
• Create clear documentation, diagrams and knowledge base articles
• Working with engineers, backend services, and QA teams to implement and test features.
• Diagnosing and solving operational issues in a timely manner to ensure high availability of our services.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of proven design and programming experience in Java, Python and/or Golang, developing highly scalable web server applications based on object-oriented design patterns and powered by NoSQL data stores on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience in Machine Learning
• Deep Learning framework experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Computer Vision, Graphics, and/or Game Engines is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
