The role

DVM Industries is looking for an Administrative Assistant to help keep the day-to-day running of the business organized, efficient and on track.

In this role, you will support management, HR, payroll, field teams and employees. One day you might be arranging travel or preparing documents, and the next supporting payroll, setting up a new starter or updating company systems.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and follows things through.

Key Responsibilities

As our Administrative Assistant, you will:

  • Manage office calls, mail, supplies, maintenance requests and general administration.
  • Support meetings, presentations, proposals, contracts and business documents.
  • Arrange travel, company meetings and employee events.
  • Assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage processes, including Points North.
  • Coordinate new-starter IT equipment, software access and equipment records.
  • Maintain user accounts, customer information and project records in Acumatica.
  • Create and update trackers, reports, forms, SOPs and training materials.

The person

You will need:

  • At least two years' office administration, operations support or similar experience.
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage several priorities.
  • Good Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint and Microsoft Forms skills.
  • Experience using ERP or administrative systems.
  • A dependable approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Payroll, prevailing wage, construction, electrical or facilities experience is a bonus.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish skills are preferred.
