both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and create lasting memories with their furry friends. We're currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our pack as we build a haven for dogs and their parents.

As a Barkside team member, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring that both our human and canine visitors have a fantastic experience. You'll play a pivotal role in every aspect of the Barkside experience. Oh, and you'll be responsible for fielding endless dog kisses along the way!

Barktender

As our Barktender, you'll craft a diverse range of human-grade beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee/espresso, and specialty dog specific treats to delight our two-legged and four-legged friends.

Responsibilities

• Part time role, ability to work three to four days per week, including weekends.
• Take, prepare, and serve beverage orders — for humans and their dogs — in a timely manner while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Welcome and check in new guests, both human and canine, with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Accurately handle payments, process transactions, and manage the point of sale system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout each shift, including light inventory and restocking.
• Monitor the overall safety and well-being of humans and dogs in the space, enforcing our park rules and helping de-escalate any potential issues.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the bar area, dog play zones, and other common spaces, including cleaning up after dogs as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, barista, or client service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Passion for dogs and a genuine love for taking care of clients.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and their furry companions.
• Comfort handling cash and point-of-sale systems accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn various tasks and roles within the business.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to safely lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to contribute to a harmonious work environment.
