Physician - Interventional Pain Medicine



SCHEDULE:

- Full-Time

- Part-Time

- Monday to Friday

- 9:00am to 5:00pm

- Flexible Options Available

COMPANY PROFILE:

Since opening in 2018, this 11-site organization has been effectively providing a comprehensive range of orthopedic care specializing in neck and back injuries to residents of the greater Dallas / Fort Worth area. Their physicians treat patients with acute and chronic issues caused by work related injuries, as well as shoulder, knee, and other general orthopedic issues. They provide surgical treatment for all spine, hip, knee, and shoulder conditions ranging from management of sport injuries to total joint replacement. Their comprehensive and focused approach to patients, along with state-of-the-art-facilities, ensures that each and every patient gets the best possible outcome.



POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This is a flexible opportunity in which the new physician and hiring organization will collaborate on a mutually-agreeable job description.


Duties of the interventional pain medicine physician role may include:


- perform interventional pain procedures

- evaluate patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment

- develop individualized treatment plans

- monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- perform examinations and obtain medical histories

- order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing

- provide comprehensive management of patients with pain-related conditions

- coordinate referrals when needed


The practice has multiple offices and the new physician may be based in any of the following locations: Denton, Desoto, downtown Dallas, central Fort Worth, Garland, Grand Prairie, Hurst, Lakewood, Lewisville, McKinney, or Mesquite. Physicians typically rotate between 3 or 4 locations, depending on their commute, but that is negotiable and flexible.


For outpatient procedures, physicians typically work out of Lewisville, Garland, and/or Grand Prairie, as those offices have the most robust resources for that work.



REQUIREMENTS:

- Texas medical license

- DEA

- Board Certified / Eligible, Pain Medicine, PM&R, Anesthesiology, etc.

- experience with interventional pain procedures
