Job Description
We’re hiring Field Research Assistants for seasonal fall fieldwork!
Short-Term Contract Role
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Able to walk on uneven ground and hand-harvest corn
- Comfortable working in heat, mud, dust, rain, and varying weather conditions
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions
- Basic computer/iPad skills
- Able to work well independently and with a team
- Previous agricultural experience is a plus
Responsibilities: Field sampling, hand harvesting, sorting, scanning, weighing, inventory, sample processing, planting-related activities, and general field/facility support.
