Logistics/Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments from order through delivery
• Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists, and import/shipping documentation
• Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers
• Track shipments and proactively address delays or discrepancies
• Process customer orders and provide shipment updates
• Handle customer inquiries and provide professional customer service by phone and email
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and maintaining accurate shipment records
• Coordinate closely with internal operations and warehouse personnel
• Perform additional logistics and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, import/export, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain
• Experience with Bills of Lading and shipping documentation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience with international imports is strongly preferred
• Food, seafood, perishables, or international distribution experience is a plus
