Cashier/Cook

The Cashier/Cook role operates in a fast food and casual dining environment, providing efficient food preparation and excellent customer service. This position involves managing multiple shifts and reporting directly to the store manager or team lead. The ideal candidate will balance front-end cashier duties with food preparation, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties including cash handling and operating the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Prepare food items following safety and quality standards
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service and order taking
• Maintain cleanliness of work and dining areas
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in cashier or cooking roles
• Certified in TABC and Food Handlers
• Proficient in cash handling and food preparation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Effective time management and teamwork abilities
• Basic math skills for handling transactions
