Box Truck Driver/ Warehouse Worker

About the Position

AMBIT Polyurethane is seeking a Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is experienced in operating a box truck, forklift, and electric pallet jack. This position does not require a CDL, but CDL holders are preferred.

The primary responsibility includes local deliveries between the company’s own buildings, located just one mile apart—no overnight or long-haul driving required. In addition, this role involves assisting in warehouse operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a box truck for deliveries between company facilities (1-mile distance).
• Safely load, transport, and unload drums, totes, and other materials needed for manufacturing.
• Utilize forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move inventory and materials.
• Perform warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, assisting with shipments, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Conduct routine truck inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL accepted, CDL preferred).
• Forklift and electric pallet jack certification required.
• Experience with loading/unloading and warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
