PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Uniondale NY 11553 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $65.75+/hr – based on shift time
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Sun + Mon, Wed, Thu
- M/W/TH: 7p-1130p (67.51/hr)
- Sun: 9a-6p (65.75/hr)
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist will provide safe and accurate medication dispensing and comprehensive pharmacy services in an onsite setting while supporting medication management, patient consultation, sterile preparation, pharmacy staff supervision, and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept, review, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
- Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential medication overuse or drug-related concerns.
- Ensure medications are supplied and dispensed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Verify that prescribed medications are appropriate for patients.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Counsel patients on prescription and non-prescription medications, including dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Compound medications for internal or external use as needed.
- Prepare sterile solutions in accordance with proper procedures.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other pharmacy support staff.
- Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and other members of the healthcare team.
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree required.
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active pharmacist license issued by the applicable state pharmacy board.
- IV medication experience required
- Ability to work onsite in Uniondale, NY
- Ability to work the required Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedule.
- Experience preparing sterile solutions is a plus.
