Wash Dock Laborers

Craftsmen Contractors is hiring Skilled Laborers for working on a wash dock at a barge repair facility in the Port Allen, La. area. The job consists of helping clean barges. This is a long-term position with an opportunity for advancement. The schedule is working day shifts Monday through Friday and occasional weekends/overtime.

***Barge cleaning and pressure washer experience preferred. ***

Job pays $15 - $17/hr. to start, depending on experience and performance.

No per diem is offered for this position.

Will have to pass a pre-employment t drug screen.

Job Duties:

• Lift some heavy objects from time to time.
• Pressure washing barges
• Help clean barges
• Job site clean-up

Job Requirements:

• Need to have all PPE.
• At least 1 year of pressure washing and barge cleaning experience preferred, and 1 year of Skilled Laborer experience required.
• Stand for long periods of time
• Be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and interview at our Metairie office - one time only.
