Title: Legal Assistant
The temporary Legal Assistant should be proficient in Relativity; Excel; Sharepoint; WestLaw and Lexis; proficient with electronic court filing systems (NYSCEF and PACER); skilled managing complex investigations and litigations, including managing and organizing incoming and outgoing document productions; assist prep for testimonial proceedings, handling admin tasks arising in investigations and litigations, e.g. arranging court reporters, videographers, managing transcripts and videotapes of testimony; prepare pretrial submissions; maintain case dockets; conduct research into publicly available records under supervision of AAGs
Duties include:
Document management; Handling electronic discovery matters; Cite checking; Formatting and handling court filings; Preparation for examinations and depositions; Other case-specific administrative tasks
Prior experience as a litigation paralegal - minimum of 2 years if candidate has a bachelors degree or 4 years if candidate has a paralegal certificate
