Duties

  • Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness to uphold high standards of quality and safety.
  • Supervise and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management to foster a positive team environment.
  • Oversee inventory control, food handling procedures, and food safety compliance to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
  • Coordinate shift schedules, monitor restaurant flow during peak hours, and ensure quick service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support kitchen management by supervising food production, culinary standards, and ensuring adherence to health regulations.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and maintaining operational efficiency to meet business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or casual dining establishments.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams, training staff, and managing shifts effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, food handling procedures, and hospitality management practices.
