Order Fulfillment Specialist
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, preparing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are delivered on time. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to providing exceptional service while working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipping.
- Process shipping labels and documentation.
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory for efficient order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided if applicable).
- Follow quality control standards and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely order completion.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or order fulfillment experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
