Job Brief

Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Shuttle Driver for our client. In this role, you will safely drive, park, and move new vehicles within a distribution or shipping yard. You will also inspect vehicles for damage, verify listed accessories, and help maintain yard quality standards.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

· Ensure new vehicles are driven and parked in assigned areas according to manufacturer’s specifications

· Inspects cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice

· Move vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay location

· Ensure yard quality standards are maintained

· Must be able to follow directions and consistently follow procedures

· Must adhere to AAR and safety procedures

· Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

· Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Must have and maintain a valid State driver’s license and must have a good driving record

· Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions

· Must be able to move 40-80 vehicles per day

· Walk continuously throughout the day

· Associates must be able to work as a team or individually depending on workload

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Previous experience in a distribution center environment helpful.

· Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, brands, locations, and mandatory overtime.

· Meet productivity standards after successfully completing training.

· Must be a team player and able to work well with others.

· Comply with all safety, hazardous material and OSHA training, rules, and reporting, ensuring a safe work environment.

· Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day.

· Ability to frequently lift cartons above (up to 8 feet overhead) or below shoulder level.

· Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and stoop on a repetitive basis.

· Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include grasping and holding
