Job Description

The Landscape Maintenance Technician is responsible for the care and upkeep of client outdoor spaces and performs related duties to assist Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader. The client’s property should be left in the best condition possible in the safest way possible. Duties may include:

· Mowing, weed whacking/trimming, edging, blowing, mulching

· Weeding, digging, leaf removal (raking/blowing/hand pulling leaves from shrub bed areas)

· Occasionally may be asked to aerate, seed, prune, or spray weeds

The Landscape Maintenance Technician should perform all duties in a timely and professional manner so the requirements of the job as outlined in the work order are met. The Technician is responsible for proper use and care of issued hand tools and mechanical equipment, along with maintaining the professional appearance of company facilities and grounds. Any unforeseen circumstances can be resolved by the Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader.

Landscape Maintenance Technicians will comply with company policies and procedures to include employee handbook, safe operation of tools and equipment, and all other landscaping requirements. Cooperation, production and customer satisfaction are expected. Technicians should set the example for their coworkers and will be both held accountable and rewarded for their behavior and performance.
