Maintenance Assistant Manager
Job Description
Talento Search Group has an opening for a hands on Maintenance Assistant Manager in Gainesville, Georgia. This is a direct hire on 1st shift. This is a working / hands on position.
Job Highlights:
- Pay: $70,000. - $90,000 depending upon experience
- Shift: Monday - Friday - Day Shift
- Benefits: Full Medical Package available after 60 Days
- 401K retirement (available after 90 Days)

Experience Needed:
- At least 10 years of industrial maintenance experience to include minimum 1 year in a leadership role
- High School Diploma or GED -Technical Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Ability to maintain equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics
- Strong skill-sets in electrical controls and PLC's, drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Knowledgeable with basic fabrication and welding
- Strong communication skills (verbal / written)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance, calibration, installation, and repairs
- Create schedules for the maintenance department
- Work with production managers to maintain maintenance standards
- Must ensure all facility equipment is operational and if not, troubleshoot/repair in a timely manner
- Promote good housekeeping practices
- Manage training programs for new equipment
- Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs as needed
- Assist engineering with the installation and startup of new equipment
