Position 1: Electronics / Electromechanical Assembler

Pay Rate: $21.00–$27.00/hr, based on experience
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract with Potential Contract-to-Hire

Position Summary

The Electronics / Electromechanical Assembler performs electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly activities. The position requires hands-on experience with soldering, PCB and cable harness assembly, mechanical assembly, small components, ESD controls, epoxy bonding, and electronic testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly.
  • Perform soldering while working under microscopes.
  • Follow ESD controls when handling electronic components.
  • Assemble PCB boards and cable harnesses.
  • Perform mechanical assembly using common hand tools.
  • Mix and apply epoxy for bonding applications.
  • Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Handle piezoelectric crystals and classified assemblies.
  • Perform high-voltage potting and testing.
  • Operate electronic testing equipment and measurement tools.
  • Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the assembly process.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of related electronics assembly experience preferred.
  • Hands-on soldering and microscope experience preferred.
  • Experience with PCB and cable harness assembly.
  • Experience with ESD controls and small electronic components.
  • Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to use common hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
  • J-STD-001 certification preferred.


Position 2: Production Machinist 1

Pay Rate: $23.75–$30.00/hr, based on experience
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Position Summary

The Production Machinist 1 sets up and operates conventional and CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components. The position requires strong blueprint reading, machining, inspection, measurement, and shop safety skills, with the ability to maintain close tolerances and inspect completed work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate conventional and CNC lathes and mills.
  • Operate turret lathes, engine lathes, and other machine shop equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Set appropriate speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
  • Machine precision components to required specifications.
  • Maintain close dimensional tolerances.
  • Perform inspections throughout the machining process.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and related tools.
  • Inspect completed work to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Identify and correct machining issues when appropriate.
  • Maintain safe and organized work areas.
  • Follow established shop safety and quality procedures.
  • Work independently while meeting production and quality requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 6+ years of conventional and CNC machining experience.
  • CNC machining experience required.
  • Experience with inspection techniques and precision measurement.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of shop safety practices.
  • Experience machining precision parts.
  • Experience with metal finishes and assemblies.
  • Ability to inspect own work and maintain quality standards.
  • Experience with Fadal and Haas machines is a plus.
  • 4-axis machining experience is a plus.
