Production Associate
Job Description
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Conover, NC
Shift: 12 hour shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule. Overtime opportunities available.
Client Overview
You'd be working at a large packaging manufacturing plant that makes corrugated boxes and materials. This is a hands on production floor in the finishing department, prepping and packing rolls and materials.

What You'll Do
- Prep rolls for production
- Split cores
- Identify board grades
- Band finished material
- Operate the roll pusher
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the department manager
What We Need From You
- Able to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable following safe working techniques and PPE requirements
- Steel toed shoes required starting day one
- Able to work a 12 hour overnight shift on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule
Preferred / Bonus
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Experience with production floor housekeeping and material handling
