Human Resources Coordinator (Bilingual)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a professional and proactive Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator to support the daily operations of our HR department across multiple locations. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative HR support and guidance, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of HR processes related to employee terminations, benefits administration, leave management, workers' compensation, and payroll inquiries. The primary objective is to uphold operational excellence within the HR function, delivering maximum value to the organization. This role reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:


Facilitate the recruitment process by sourcing and onboarding qualified candidates for warehouse and transportation roles; collaborate with managers to understand the skills and competencies required for each position.

Manage the onboarding process for new and rehired employees, including completing all necessary paperwork, verifying I-9 documentation, and ensuring compliance with WOTC requirements.

Conduct new hire orientations in English and/or Spanish.

Respond to routine employment inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, providing accurate and timely information.

Maintain and update employee records with precision and confidentiality.

Assist with processing employee terminations and related documentation.

Promote and embody company culture, core values, and policies.

Address employee requests and questions with professionalism and courtesy.

Support HR policy interpretation and handle basic benefits inquiries.

Assist with annual open enrollment activities.

Coordinate and support employee engagement and company events.

Perform general clerical tasks to support HR operations as needed.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with employees and management at all levels.

Strong onboarding and orientation experience.

Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.

Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor.
