Part Time Driver Check-in Clerk - Evening Shift
Job Description
5:00pm to 10:00pm (hours may vary)
Monday through Friday
Requirements:
- 1 year minimum Freight billing/auditing experience
- Attention to Detail
- Answering telephones
- Using office equipment such as copy/fax machine, e-mail, and computers
- Organized with effective time management
- Ability to multi-task
Responsibilities:
- Check in drivers, verify accuracy of driver bill of ladings (BOL) and proof of deliveries (POD)
- Answer phones, route calls, take messages, answer emails
- Check BOL's for specific partner carriers and distribute bills to the billing clerk
- Ensure all POD's are accounted for by physically counting the bills and comparing them to the driver manifest
- Handle and process checks, or cash from COD shipments
- Enter pertinent information in Cheetah Service Desk for specific carriers
- Work closely with Dispatch and Dock Supervisors
- Collect end of month mileage sheets from driver's clip boards and replace them with new month sheets
- Scan and index BOL's and POD's
- Other office duties as directed by Management
