PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Albany NY 12205 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $25/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday :00 AM–5:00 PM
• • One evening per week from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
  • Every other weekend from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Pharmacy Technician will support pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. This role is responsible for assisting with prescription filling, medication preparation, inventory management, and customer service while following established pharmacy procedures.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing.
• Maintain medication inventory and storage areas.
• Provide customer service and respond to pharmacy-related inquiries.
• Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Support daily pharmacy operations as needed.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented pharmacy environment.
• Must be available for the required weekday, evening, and every-other-weekend schedule.
