Forklift Certified - General Laborer

We are hiring a dependable Forklift-Certified General Laborer for a busy cement supply facility at the Port of Lake Charles. This is a hands-on industrial position involving forklift operation, material handling, and physically demanding general labor.

Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Weekly pay
Overtime available

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
3:00 AM start time
Typical shift ends at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM
Some overtime and weekend work may be required

Job Duties:
Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials
Load, unload, and handle heavy cement products
Assist with general labor throughout the facility
Use basic hand tools as needed
Keep the work area clean and safe
Work with the operations team to keep materials moving efficiently
Follow all safety procedures and facility policies

Requirements:
Valid TWIC card
Valid driver’s license
Current forklift certification
Reliable transportation
Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift
Ability to work outdoors and in a physically demanding industrial environment
Ability to pass an onsite drug screen
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

Construction, industrial, mechanical, or port facility experience is preferred.
