HOW YOU IMPACT OUR TEAM

(Summary of Position)

Ferrotec is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Clerk to support our Contract Manufacturing team. This role provides hands-on experience working with production, inventory, and operational data in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, supporting reporting needs, and improving overall data integrity across systems.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

(Essential Duties & Responsibilities)

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain data in internal systems (ERP/MRP, spreadsheets, databases)
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness; identify and correct errors
  • Assist with maintaining production records, work orders, and inventory data
  • Support document control processes, including digitizing and organizing records
  • Generate basic reports for operations, supply chain, and management teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain) to ensure data consistency
  • Perform routine audits of data to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives related to data management and workflow efficiency

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, data entry, formulas a plus)
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and focus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior administrative, clerical, or data entry experience
  • Interest in manufacturing or operations environments
