Glass Installer

Bolingbrook Glass is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for residential and commercial reglazing projects, primarily involving shower doors, mirrors, and insulated window units. This role requires precision in installing, repairing, and replacing glass across various settings including commercial storefronts and residential windows. The Glass Installer will report directly to the shop manager and work as a vital team member on standard reglazing projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace glass in residential and commercial settings
• Measure and cut glass accurately for reglazing projects
• Interact professionally with customers on site
• Perform reglazing for shower doors, mirrors, and insulated window units
• Handle commercial storefront and window unit installations
• Maintain safety and quality standards during all installations
• Collaborate effectively within the team under shop manager supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in glass installation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in glass cutting, measuring, and fitting
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
