HEME Behavioral Health is growing, and we're looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team.
Our technicians work one-on-one with individuals receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in home, school, daycare, clinic, and community settings. You'll receive ongoing support and supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) while helping clients build communication, social, behavioral, adaptive, and daily living skills.

What You'll Do
As a BT/RBT, you will:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
- Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans
- Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills
- Use play, natural routines, and structured teaching opportunities to promote learning
- Collect accurate treatment data and complete required documentation
- Support clients through challenging behaviors using approved, evidence-based procedures
- Collaborate closely with your supervising BCBA
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development

Who We're Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned client locations
- Ability to pass required background and registry screenings
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently in community-based settings
- Ability to complete required training and obtain RBT certification when applicable
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Bachelor's degree or coursework in psychology, education, behavioral science, social work, or a related field
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral support needs
- Interest in pursuing a career in ABA, psychology, education, behavioral health, or a related field
New to ABA? Candidates with the right attitude, reliability, and desire to learn are encouraged to apply. Training and RBT certification support may be available.
This Is an Active, Hands-On Position
ABA therapy is highly interactive and not a sedentary job. Depending on the individual you support, you may need to:
- Sit and play on the floor
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and squat
- Transition quickly between activities or environments
- Lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds
- Respond quickly when needed to maintain client safety
- Work with individuals who may engage in behaviors such as aggression, elopement, property disruption, or self-injury
Employees receive training and are expected to follow all approved behavior intervention, safety, and clinical procedures.
