Greenhouse Construction Installer

Hummel Greenhouse Solutions is hiring dependable, motivated people to join our traveling construction crew.

We specialize in the construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance of institutional, research, university, and botanical greenhouse facilities throughout the United States.

Starting Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Greenhouse construction, renovation, and maintenance
• Installation and removal of glass and greenhouse glazing systems
• Structural framing and greenhouse components
• Installation of doors, vents, screens, shade systems, and related equipment
• Use of hand tools and power tools
• Work from ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, and other construction equipment
• Material handling and general construction work
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Follow company and jobsite safety requirements

Requirements

• Dependable and willing to travel
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Valid driver's license
• Able to work at heights
• Able to perform physical construction work
• Able to lift and carry construction materials and equipment
• Basic hand tools
• Ability to work as part of a crew
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it
• Ability to pass project-required background checks or drug testing when necessary

Construction experience is preferred but not required. Experience with greenhouse construction, glazing, framing, roofing, mechanical work, or commercial construction is a plus.
