OTR Flatbed Driver/Tow Operator

Campbell Wrecker Service is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Tow Operator to join our team. You will be the face of our company, providing critical roadside assistance and recovery services to motorists across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois. In this role, you aren’t just moving vehicles—you are providing peace of mind to drivers in stressful situations.

What You’ll Do

• Operational Excellence: Safely and efficiently operate towing equipment to recover and transport disabled, damaged, or illegally parked vehicles.
• Roadside Assistance: Provide on-the-spot support, including jump-starts, tire changes, and minor roadside diagnostics.
• Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations and company protocols.
• Equipment Care: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure your wrecker is clean, fully stocked, and in peak operational condition.
• Professional Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for dispatchers, law enforcement, and customers. Provide clear, empathetic, and professional updates to team members and clients alike.
• Incident Reporting: Promptly document and report any equipment abnormalities, traffic incidents, or safety hazards to the Tower Manager/Operations Supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome; we value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn our specific systems and safety standards.
• Licensing & Certifications:
• • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Preferred: For-Hire Endorsement and an up-to-date Medical Card.
