Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician – Tallahassee, FL
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Tallahassee, FL!
We are looking for a hands-on, dependable maintenance professional who can take ownership of the community’s day-to-day maintenance operations and keep the property running smoothly.
Position Responsibilities
- Complete and manage daily maintenance work orders and service requests
- Perform ticket running and respond to resident maintenance needs promptly
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems
- Complete apartment make-readies and prepare units for new residents
- Assist with and oversee preventative maintenance
- Perform groundskeeping and property upkeep
- Assist with common-area maintenance and repairs
- Identify and report safety, maintenance, and property concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop and work areas
- Work independently while effectively communicating with the Property Manager and onsite team
- Provide excellent customer service to residents
Requirements
- Previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience is REQUIRED
- EPA Certification is REQUIRED
- CPO Certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of apartment maintenance and building systems
- Experience with work orders/ticket systems
- Experience completing make-readies
- Groundskeeping and general property maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
