CNA / Home Care Aide (HCA) - Gig Harbor | Fri-Sun 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

AffordCare Home Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable CNA or HCA for a consistent part-time schedule supporting a client in Gig Harbor.

Schedule (must be available for all three days every week): • Friday 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM • Saturday 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM • Sunday 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM (6-hour shifts • 18 hours/week • consistent weekly pattern)

What you’ll do

• Provide dignified assistance with personal care, including incontinence care, hygiene, and toileting support

• Help with light meal preparation and meal assistance

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning as needed

• Offer warm companionship and a calm, patient presence

• Maintain clear communication with the family and our care team

• Accurately document shifts using our simple EVV/timekeeping app

• Report any changes in condition promptly while staying within non-medical scope of practice

• Owner owns a house cat

Requirements

• Current Washington State HCA or CNA certification

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Ability to pass a full background check (criminal history + OIG exclusion list)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation (Gig Harbor location)

• Smartphone and comfort using a simple EVV/timekeeping app

• Comfort and experience with incontinence care and personal care (ADLs)

• Proven reliability, strong professional boundaries, and a respectful, dignity-first approach

• Must be available for the exact Friday–Sunday 4–10 pm schedule on an ongoing basis
