Automotive Sales Manager
Job Description
The Automotive Sales Manager leads a large sales team of 16+ members, driving sales strategy and fostering strong customer relationships to achieve dealership goals. This role involves managing inventory oversight, guiding staff training, and reporting directly to the Director of Sales with limited local travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet dealership targets
- Lead, motivate, and manage a large sales team
- Maintain and enhance customer relations to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels and availability
- Conduct staff training to improve product knowledge and selling skills
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in automotive sales management
- Strong expertise in sales management and customer relationship management (CRM)
- Proven negotiation skills and automotive product knowledge
- Demonstrated team leadership and inventory management abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
