Electrical Mechanical Drafter

Duties

1. Core Function: Design, draft, and finalize applicable drawings for front end (sales) and production including illustrations, logos, and layouts. Create specification sheets associated with current production items.
2. Graphic Proficiency: Utilize design programs and tools to create accurate representation drawings including top view, 3D, and production drawings enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of manufacturing and costing processes.
3. Interdisciplinary Design: Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineers to fulfill sales requests
4. Availability: Willing to work weekends and after hours (remote from home)
5. Technical: Draft detailed and accurate technical reports for customers and regulatory bodies, documenting structural behavior under various environmental conditions.
6. Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and discrepancies regarding technical drawings, 3D models, and spec sheets.
7. Communication Excellence: Maintain effective communication with team members to address technical inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure the success of projects.

Skills

• An associate’s degree in drafting design or similar from an accredited institution or equivalent drafting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
