Senior Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Job Type: Full-Time | 12-Month Contract
Shift: Monday–Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay: $25.71 per hour
Position Overview
SGF Global is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations at a production facility in King of Prussia, PA. This hands-on role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure production equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, maintenance experience, and enjoys troubleshooting equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform troubleshooting and repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical/control system issues.
- Operate and maintain machine shop equipment for parts fabrication and repairs.
- Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Track, organize, and maintain maintenance parts inventory.
- Fabricate or repair replacement parts when needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using hand tools and shop equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Electrical or controls troubleshooting training or experience.
- Basic machine shop skills, including milling, lathe, drill press, welding, or metal fabrication.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a dusty manufacturing environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechatronics education or technical training.
- Industrial maintenance or general mechanic experience.
- Machine shop, welding, or metal fabrication experience.
- Electrical or electronic troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Experience operating rigging or lifting equipment.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (3rd Shift)
- 40 hours per week
- 100% Onsite
- Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on business needs.
