Pay rate: $20 - $30 hourly (depending on experience)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Controls Technician / Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Fire Alarm Systems, or individuals with a strong technical background who are eager to learn. Responsibilities

• Program, commission, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Install, maintain, and service HVAC control systems and DDC controllers.
• Diagnose and repair BAS, HVAC, lighting, access control, and CCTV systems.
• Perform system testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, control drawings, and technical documents.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure installations meet company quality and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service while working at client sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical/trade school preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in BAS, HVAC, Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Fire Alarm Systems preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, DDC controls, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a specialized industry.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
• Full-Time
• Occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday emergency service as needed.
• Travel to customer sites required.
