HireLevel is seeking Assembly Techs in Fenton, MO!

Our client is a family-owned industrial electrical and automation company that has been serving customers since 1976. They specialize in industrial automation, motor control, power distribution, and custom-engineered control assemblies.

Job Type: Contract to Hire | Full-Time
Location: Fenton, MO
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 9a - 5p | On-Site
Salary: $20/hr

Responsibilities of Assembly Tech:

  • Assemble electrical control panels and industrial equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Install and wire electrical components including relays, terminal blocks, switches, and other control devices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
  • Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory, material handling, and other production duties as needed


Requirements of Assembly Tech:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday
  • Ability to use hands for handling materials, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Comfortable using common hand tools and occasionally sharp tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Must have the ability to perform tasks requiring close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
