Job Description:

Job Title: Production Technician SR

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Franksville, CA

Work Schedule: Onsite

Pay Rate: $28, Based on experience

Description:

• Provide maintenance support for company facilities including Production, Quality and R&D. Maintain building operations and ensure that the facilities are always safe and functional.
  Manage routine preventative maintenance tasks and emergency repairs to prevent and resolve safety or operational issues.
  Attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards are not overlooked. Maintenance shops and offices should be maintained in a clean and organised fashion.
  
  Major Duties Description:
• Corrective Maintenance: Perform highly skilled mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other repairs as necessary to equipment and buildings.
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Perform and close out tasks in SAP-PM GUI & Fiori
  
  

Preventative Maintenance

• Perform timely inspection and preventative maintenance per defined procedures for Production equipment and buildings.
• Modify and document equipment procedures as necessary.
• Train personnel as necessary.
• Verify that tasks are properly closed in SAP-PM.
• Perform and close out tasks in SAP-PM GUI & Fiori.

Program Assistance

• Assist Facilities, Engineering and R&D with equipment-related projects by using skilled labour in performing key activities.
• Development of equipment spare parts inventory.

Project Management

• Lead and coordinate tasks with outside contractors and vendors for small-sized projects.

On Call/Call Back

• Rotation of “On Call” duties for repair and maintenance of the equipment and facility items with other assigned staff.
• “Call Back” for maintenance-related duties during off hours that cannot be adequately covered by the “On Call” person alone.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards

Education:

• Associate's degree in automotive technology, industrial/electrical technology, facility/equipment maintenance, or related field.
  OR
• Equivalent trade school certification or Equivalent extensive work experience.

Work Experience

• Broad knowledge of various trades.
• 5+ years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or related trades.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities - Technical & Functional

• Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude. Required
• Ability to manage time efficiently and reliably. Required
• Good communication skills both written and verbal. Required
• Attention to detail and proficient/accurate with documentation. Required
• Proficient in the use of computers, including use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Required
• Understanding of and experience utilising Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software. Required
• Driver license. Required

Physical Requirements

• The physical requirements for the Maintenance and Calibration department involve occasional exposure to extreme conditions, such as working in cold environments (50°ree;F or less) and heat (90°ree;F or more), with occasional exposure to humidity, heights, noise, and gases/fumes.
• Standing, sitting, walking, and bending are frequent tasks, with occasional repetitive movements, working with others, and operating machinery like copiers, 10-keys, and computers.
• Heavy lifting (over 20 lbs.) is rare, while moderate lifting (5-20 lbs.) and moving light equipment (under 5 lbs.) occur more frequently.
• Visual and auditory requirements are essential, with occasional needs for depth perception, color discrimination, and manual dexterity.
• The role involves frequent local travel, with occasional national or international travel, and requires a significant amount of communication through telephone and computer use
